This year's hit is the Ztech ZT-83 Venezia electric bicycle, a completely new model.
The power of the motor is 250W. For a comfortable start, the assistance does not start immediately with full torque, but gradually increases in strength. This helps to get started and, among other things, to drive safely on gravel terrain.
An important aspect of choosing an electric bike, the question that is asked before buying a pedelec, is how long does the battery last? Well, for the average use of busy weekdays, such as commuting, going to work, shopping, there probably isn't a bike equipped with a low-capacity battery that wouldn't be enough.
In the Venezia, the battery capacity is 360 Wh. This is more than enough for everyday use and commuting. Based on our test, a distance of 40-60 km does not cause any problems for it.
The transmission is provided by a three-speed hub gearbox, which, due to its wide transmission range, is also suitable for climbing hills and driving at a fast pace, and is also reliable and almost completely maintenance-free.
The control unit forms a separate unit from the display, so its placement can be easily customized. The numbers on the display are easy to read, the charge is continuously displayed, the other displayed information can be changed, and there is also a backlight that can be turned on together with the lights.
The assistance works according to the standard up to a speed of 25 km/h. This maximum assistance in traffic (of course you can go faster without assistance) can be close to the average speed in the case of a bicycle - and especially an electric bicycle. In a big city, it is faster than many other means of transport - but it can still be handled safely.
